How to use a kettle?

1、 Preparation before use

Check voltage: Before use, check whether your electrical voltage is consistent with the voltage indicated on the bottom nameplate of the kettle to avoid damage caused by voltage mismatch.

Cleaning water kettle: For water kettles that are used for the first time or have not been used for a long time, the inner walls of the utensils should be cleaned first to ensure that there is no dust or impurities.

Check the connector: Ensure that the power base and connector are dry and prevent electrical leakage.

2、 Adding water and operation

Add water in moderation: Add water in moderation and do not exceed the highest water level of the kettle to prevent overflow when boiling; At the same time, do not lower it below the minimum water level line, otherwise the kettle may not work properly.

Close the lid: Please ensure that the lid is securely closed before starting the operation to avoid water splashing out during the heating process.

Power on: After filling the kettle with water and closing the lid, place the kettle on a flat and stable surface and turn on the power. The indicator light is on, indicating that the kettle is starting to heat up.

3、 Usage process

Avoid touching high temperature parts: During the use of the electric kettle, its body will become hot, so when pouring water, only the cool handle can be picked up to lift the kettle, avoiding direct contact with the hot surface of the kettle to avoid burns.

Pay attention to safety distance: When water boils, the temperature of the water vapor is extremely high. Avoid touching the gap between the pot mouth, lid, and handle with your hands or other parts of your body to avoid burns. Meanwhile, do not remove the lid of the kettle while it is boiling water.

Do not dry boil: Do not use a kettle without adding water to prevent damage caused by dry burning.

4、 Post use processing

Disconnect power supply: Before pouring water, the power supply must be disconnected and the power cord must be unplugged to ensure safety.

Timely cleaning: When cleaning the kettle, disconnect the power and unplug the power cord first, and wait for the kettle to cool before cleaning. When cleaning, do not soak the kettle, base, power cord, plug, etc. in water to prevent electric shock.

Regular descaling: Users in hard water areas should regularly descaling their water kettles by soaking them in vinegar or electrolyzed saline solution (sodium hypochlorite) to maintain cleanliness and heating efficiency.

5、 Precautions

Avoid heat sources: Never place the kettle on the surface of or near a heat source, such as a cooker or oven, to prevent damage.

Keep children away: When the kettle is working, do not leave its original position and avoid contact with children to prevent accidents.

Special power cord: The power cord base that comes with the kettle is only for use with this kettle and should not be used for other purposes. If the power cord is damaged and requires special tools, please go to the manufacturer's designated repair point for replacement.
